Dewey, Piaget, and Frosted Mini Wheats
As Montessorians, we know that our role as guides is to "Stand by, remain silent..." (Maria Montessori Speaks to Parents, 2017: 3). In The Absorbent Mind, we read that "The teacher, now, must be most careful. Not to interfere means to to interfere in any way... Praise, help, or even a look, may be enough to interrupt him, or destroy the activity" (The Absorbent Mind, 2007: 255).
