This webinar, brought to you by the Sustainability Working Group together with our Partner, The Flourish Project, will explain the work of the Flourish Project and will show how Montessori’s thinking was ahead of its time in terms of ecological approaches and the importance of early childhood development. It will introduce the Flourish Model and show how young children are important global participants in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Having originally trained as a Montessorian, and with a Masters Degree in Early Childhood and Primary Studies, Wendy Ellyatt is the founder of the Flourish Project and the creator of the Flourish Model – a powerful new ecological wellbeing framework that puts the wellbeing of the child firmly at the centre of the system. She is the founder and Chief Executive of the Save Childhood Movement, which runs National Children’s Day UK and is currently leading the development of the UK’s Spirituality in Education Alliance.

She is also on the Global Council for the Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll) (previously co-chair) and is currently highly involved in global conversations about the transformation of current education systems and the need to focus on the wellbeing of Future Generations.
